Mitsubishi Motors in the UK announced its 2019 Dealer of the Year Award winners during the company’s annual Dealer Conference, held at The De Vere Cotswold Water Park in Gloucestershire.
The awards celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievements of dealers in the Mitsubishi UK network including Dealer of the Year, New Dealer of the Year, Sales Dealer of the Year and Aftersales Dealer of the Year.
The main award and title of 2019 Dealer of the Year was presented to Bristol Mitsubishi, which is part of the CCR Motor Company. Tim Bagnell, Managing Director, CCR Motor Company said “We are absolutely delighted Bristol Mitsubishi has been named Dealer of the Year. The whole team should be very proud of themselves. CCR has represented Mitsubishi for 41 years and we have a very strong partnership so to be recognised in this way feels very special.”
The award for New Dealer of the Year was presented to Blackshaws Morpeth Mitsubishi of Northumberland. This award comes in a very special year for Blackshaws as they celebrate a centenary in business.
Sales Dealer of the Year was awarded to Devonshire Motors of Barnstaple, whilst Aftersales Dealer of the Year award was presented to Arnold Clark Stirling.
Lastly, a Long Service Award was presented to Gatwick Mitsubishi in recognition of 40 years as a Mitsubishi dealer, having first opened the franchise in January 1979.

2018 proved to be a successful year for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, with sales of passenger vehicles up 31.5% compared to 2017. This result meant the brand finished the year with total vehicle sales of 30,851 units, having been achieved in a passenger car market that finished the year 6.8% down compared to 2017.
