The Mitsubishi Outlander Diesel was the UK’s fastest selling used car in June according to research undertaken and published by Auto Trader.
The 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Diesel automatic was on average the UK’s fastest selling used car in June, taking 19 days to sell in comparison to the industry-wide average of 63 days. The Mitsubishi Outlander Diesel manual took the UK’s fourth place overall, taking 21 days to sell, and when looking at region-specific data the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) was the fastest selling used car in the London area, taking an average of 18 days to sell.
Rob Lindley, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK said: “The strong used sales performance of the Mitsubishi Outlander Diesel is evidence that there is still strong consumer appetite for seven-seat diesel SUVs in the market, particularly those which offer long-term reliability and low running costs. Our Approved Used programme has been instrumental in driving used vehicle demand by offering at least two years’ warranty, two years' roadside assistance, a 30 day exchange plan and a guaranteed full service history, as well as flexible finance options. The strength of this package is clearly resonating with customers.”
