The Mitsubishi Shogun debuted in 1982 as a new multi-purpose vehicle. This was a completely new genre of 4WD combining off-road toughness and capability with the comfort, handling and specification of a luxury saloon. The compact and powerful short wheelbase model brought all the pleasures of all-terrain motoring within a family- affordable price range. The short wheelbase model shared every major feature of its seven-seater big brother model and was available with either a 2.6-litre petrol or a 2.5-litre diesel turbo engine. This particular vehicle joined the Mitsubishi Motors in the UK was first registered in November 1987, and joined our Heritage Collection in late 2018 and underwent some refurbishment before going back out onto the road in early 2019.
