MITSUBISHI MOTORS EXTENDS ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH GLOUCESTER RUGBY THROUGH NEW LONG-TERM DEAL

CIRENCESTER – Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has reaffirmed its commitment to Gloucester Rugby with the announcement that it will continue as the club’s main partner as part of a new long-term agreement.

The development is the latest in the longstanding partnership between Mitsubishi Motors and Gloucester Rugby, with the brand supporting its local club since 2005 and taking over as main partner in 2015.

As part of the new deal the famed ‘Cherry and Whites’ will benefit from an enhanced package from Mitsubishi Motors. The brand’s famous three-diamond logo is already a familiar sight on the club’s match and training shirts, replica kit and around Kingsholm Stadium, while ever-increasing numbers of Gloucester Rugby’s players and staff are choosing Mitsubishi vehicles.

Gloucester Rugby CEO Stephen Vaughan, added: “We are delighted to be able to confirm that Mitsubishi Motors has extended their contract with Gloucester Rugby and have signed a new long-term deal as our main partner.

“We are now in our third season working with Mitsubishi Motors as a main partner, but they have actually been involved with and supported Gloucester Rugby for over ten years.”

Mitsubishi Motors’ backing of Gloucester Rugby forms part of the brand’s support of rugby at all levels, rising from grassroots all the way up to international. The brand has been a sponsor of England Rugby since 2016 and this year has become an official partner of Scottish Rugby. Additionally, it also holds partnerships with Edinburgh Rugby and Salford Red Devils.
